Benson, Burdett H. Victor: Died peacefully on March 10th 2016 with his family by his side. He is predeceased by his wife, Joanne Benson; granddaughter, Tabitha; brother-in-law, George Rugenstein; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Pete) Lonnerville; son-in-law, Gerald DeCroce; brother-in-law, Ralph Boyd. He is survived by his children, Douglas Benson, Sharon DeCroce, Pattie (Mitch) Miles, Shirley (Jack) Flanagan & Stephen Benson; grandchildren, Jeanne, Amber, Kelli, Melanie, Michael, Justin, Alisha, Michelle, Michael & Brett; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Vivian Dickerson; brothers-in-law, Robert (Phyllis) Rugenstein & James (Barbara) Rugenstein; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Boyd & Linda Rugenstein; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Family and friends are invited to call at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home (301 W. Main St., Victor) SUNDAY, 7-9:00 PM. Burdett’s funeral service will be celebrated in St. John’s Lutheran Church (153 Church Ave. in Pumpkin Hook, Farmington, NY) on Monday at 1PM. Interment, Pittsford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the American Stroke Association.
