Obituary of Leland Sanford Fasoli

Victor: On September 15, 2016 at age 88. Predeceased by wife, Alvirda; wife, Vera; siblings, Gladys, Paul, Stewart and twin, Louis. Survived by, wife; Janice Tricarico-Fasoli; daughters, Gayle (RAD) DeRose, Denise (Scott) Bair, and Lisa Lockett; son, Stuart (Linda) Fasoli; grandchildren, Chris (Angela) DeRose, Rob (Carmella) DeRose, Libbie (Trevor) DiMarco and Carl Cejka-Fasoli; great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Jacob, Benjamin, Grace DeRose and Dominic DiMarco; step-children, Jill (Thomas) Filkins, Michele (Thomas) Field, Beth (Christopher) Schierloh, Lia (Matthew) Carpenter; step- grandchildren, Brian and Alyssa Filkins, Zachary, Lindsay and Nicholas Arthur, Catie and Carly Schierloh, Olive and Ruby Carpenter; many beloved nieces and nephews. A 2nd generation American, Leland’s father, Paul, immigrated from Sulmona, Italy. Leland is a Veteran of the U.S. Army - inducted in 1946 at the age of 19, serving in the MCOM unit during WWII. He graduated from Union College with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Leland was awarded a patent in 1956 and was CEO of two successful startup companies, L-Tron Corporation and Skan-A-Matic. His interests and hobbies include anything tech related, he used computers and technology his entire adult life. A successful entrepreneur, expert in the Stock Market and an expert rifle and bow hunter. Leland was an avid boater and passionate fly, ice, bait, lure and deep sea fisherman - a true outdoorsman who loved his conversion van. Leland was a spirited and self-driven man who lived life with passion and a sense of humor. Family and friends are invited to graveside services, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 5th at 2 PM in the Gerald B.H.
