Obituary of Dorothy E. Pastore

Pastore, Dorothy E. Fairport, NY: Passed away peacefully on November 05, 2016 at age 88 with her two sons, Dave and Dan at her side. Dorothy was born in Ballston Spa, New York to Charles and Edith Wilson on June 10, 1928. Predeceased by her husband and soul mate of 58 years William “Bill” Pastore, she is survived by her sons and their wives; David and Marjorie Pastore, Daniel and Sandra Pastore; her grandchildren, Michelle Pastore, Lisa (Brian) Langlois, Kristina (Nicholas) Haralambides, Nicholas (Julie) Pastore; her great grandchildren, Madison Langlois, William Langlois, Maxwell Haralambides, Myles Haralambides, Charlie Pastore; her sister Norma (Larry) Dunkelbarger; and her many step brothers, step sister, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and Samantha. A long term, deeply dedicated and retired employee of the Streever Insurance Agency in Ballston Spa, NY, Dorothy and her husband Bill relocated in 1990 to the Rochester, NY area to be nearer to her sons, Dave and Dan. There they shared in the joy and wonder of watching their “family” grow while at the same time making new friends and creating more memorable moments in their “retirement” years. Dorothy loved life and joyfully shared that gift with all those around her by sharing her special gift of love with each and all. Friends are invited to call TUESDAY (11/8/16) from 4:00-7:00 PM at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home (301 West Main Street, Victor, NY). Dorothy’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated WEDNESDAY (11/9/16) at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, (115 Maple Ave.Victor, NY). Interment, THURSDAY (11/10/16) at 12:30 PM in the Ballston Spa Village Cemetery.
