Boye, Susan A. "Sue" Farmington: Passed away on March 17, 2017 at age 62 with her family by her side. Predeceased by her parents, Bernard & Allene; brother, Michael B. Huntley. She is survived by her husband, Dan Boye; children, Shannon L. (Bryan) Busacco, Rebecca J. (Jim) Ayers, Patricia (Chad) Boye-Williams, Eric (Krissy) Boye; grandchildren; Landon, Madison & Michael and Everly, Grace & Kate; sister's, Julie Huntley, Ginny (Tony) Virts, Shirley Huntley & Nancy (Bob) Mowers; brother-in-law, Bill Harrison; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Sue's Memorial Service will be celebrated on FRIDAY (3/24/17) at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment Private. Sue was an Officer of a Doberman rescue for 5 years during which time our home fostered over 50 Dobies as they awaited adoption. Sue's training in dog obedience allowed the foster dogs to be housed alongside our own 2 or 3 dogs without incidents. From Shyla to Jewel and on to Magic, Satin and Kali her 4 legged "children" always found love and comfort in our home. Sue loved playing cards and was an accomplished Bridge player having achieved the high rank of Emerald Life Master while also competing successfully at the National Level. Sue's competitive side discovered poker and the Mirage Poker room was the scene of many of Sue's poker tournament successes. Sue learned to love Syracuse University basketball and cheered them on while watching games on TV. The 2016 Final 4 run and games against Duke and Virginia were highlights for Sue. Sue loved to be at home. Sitting on our deck looking out to tall trees and enjoying the summer breeze and a glass of wine with her daughters & friends was a favorite pastime. Sue loved quietly yet deeply. Words of love were unnecessary as Sue always believed that actions spoke louder than any words. The family expresses their sincere thanks to the Upstate Oncology Center Drs. and nurses for their professionalism and caring during Sue's fight for without their love and support the journey would have been so much more difficult.
