Sylvio V. Lefebvre

Victor: Passed away peacefully on September 30, 2017 at age 89.  He is survived by his sons, Richard (Jean) and Victor (Sophie); grandchildren, Aaron, Rc, Jennifer & Lauren, 7 great grandchildren; Aj, Cody, Zac, Nick, Luke, Jackson and McKenzie.  He is also survived by his special nephew, Louis (Rolland) Lefebvre and several other nieces & nephews, his siblings; Noella Blanchard Dennis Lefebvre, Jerald Lefebvre, Marielle Bowen & Germain Lefebvre, closest friends Joe (Sally) Smith & "Big Jim" (Donna) and many other wonderful friends.

Sylvio was born in Canada and moved to the US in 1952 where he became a proud US citizen.  He was awarded the body building title of "Mr. Rochester" in 1957 and continued his fitness regime throughout his life.  He was a lifelong roofer and completed his last roof at the age of 87.  He was an avid skier, traveling around the world in search of a higher mountain until the age of 87. Sylvio enjoyed fishing, playing cards, dancing and spending time with his family. 

He was pre-deceased by his parents, Leo Lefebvre & Louise Touchette and several siblings.

 The family is very grateful for the wonderful care he received at Benincasa Hospice House.

Honoring Sylvio’s wishes, services will be held at a later date in Canada.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Benincasa, 3880 Rush Mendon Road, Mendon, New York 14506 in his memory.
