Obituary of Joyce H. Stockman

Stockman, Joyce H. (Toth) Victor, NY: Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at age 70. She was born August 10, 1938 in Johnstown, PA. She died suddenly of complications from a stroke on March 25, 2009. She is predeceased by her son, Mark Stockman and her parents Robert and Helen English. She is survived by her loving husband, David Stockman, daughters, Debra (Richard) Cecere, Victor NY, Sheri (James) Adam Sr., Henrietta, NY and Wendi (Jeffrey) Carrigan, Lockport NY; several grandchildren, sister, Patricia (Charles) Venable, Cadiz KY. Mrs. Stockman worked for several years at Arthur Anderson in Rochester, NY and retired to Michigan in 2000 and returned to Rochester in 2008. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home, 301 West Main Street, Victor. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First United Methodist Church of Canandaigua, 100 North Main Street, Canandaigua. Gifts in her memory may be directed to American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road North, Rochester, NY 14609. A celebration of her life will be held at the Empire United Methodist Church, 10050 Michigan Street, Tuesday March 31, 2009 at 10am, with a lunch reception to follow.
